Day 24: Gifts

Today the kids just thought that Ginger wanted some pancakes for lunch.  But on closer inspection there was a sign that said " I hid 4 small presents see if you can find them"

Tomorrow is the last day for Ginger for the year.  The kids really want her to stay and watch them open their presents.  But rules are rules.

Merry Christmas to All and to All a Good Night.

Day 23: School

Faith made her a school room last night and wrote Ginger a note.

The note says, "Ginger, you need to go to school!  I packed you a journal, a snack and a pencil.  Your class starts at 7am under the TV and goes to 12pm.  Have fun!"

Faith wrote on the "whiteboard"  the timeline for what is going to happen.  Then Glamour the teacher wrote the other stuff.

Faith even wrote a times table for them to study.

Here is Santa and Ginger and Glamour (the pink and white cat at the top)  while at school.
They had to bring snacks to eat.  The Journal has one entry in it "Day 1 went to school"

I think they had fun at school.

There is only one more day with Ginger then she is gone till next year!!

Day 21: Furby Take Over

Payton got a furby yesterday from her best friend.  I guess furby doesn't like Ginger.  We found her bound and gagged this morning, with a little note.

I also made yesterday what I'm calling are Ginger's pies.  They are basically small apple pies, almost like a tart, but made with pie crust.

Day 19: I Mustache You a Question.

Today Ginger and her friends went alittle crazy.  They made mustaches for everyone.  You get a mustache, You get a mustache.  The kids didn't even notice she had given mustaches to their baby pictures until I pointed it out.

Day 18: Making a Mess

Yesterday I was busy most of the day making cookies.  There are alot of cookies and I was up late into the night getting the base coat of icing on them.

Ginger decided to join in on the cookie making fun.  She was making snow angels in the flour.

Her friends also gave her some rating.  Santa is always nice and gave a 10, her hippo gave an 8 and the snowman gave a 5, boy is she harsh.

Day 17: Superheros

Ginger got a little crazy last night.  She decided to fight crime.  Here is the sign she left for the kids.

she's on a swing with her mask and supercap

Doesn't she look so cute all dressed up?

Day 16: Letters

Today Ginger left a note for the kids.

She wants the kids to explain why she talked to Santa.
Should be an interesting read.

Day 15: Sunday School

I guess Ginger wanted to get in on the action today.

She pulled out on of the kids bibles and had a little read.

Day 14: Mirror Mirror on the wall

Ginger was naughty again last night.  She wrote on the bathroom mirror.
It's hard to see here

I had to make the writing darker, cause it wasn't showing up in the camera.  Do you know how are it is to get lipstick off the mirror??

Day 13: Cookies

Ginger made cookies for the kids today.  Isn't that sweet!

The kids got a kick out of how she made the cookies.  Global played the Elf on the Shelf tv show last night.  All the kids gathered around to watch.  The other day Clayton said to me "Kids in my class say that Santa isn't real"  I said to him "The kids who don't believe in Santa don't get presents from Santa."  It's a shame that grade 4 kids are ruining it for other kids.  I still want my kids to believe in the magic of Christmas.

Day 12: Bathtime

Last night was bath night for all the troops.  So Ginger thought she should have a bath as well.

She had to have her stuffed animal in there with her.  Cause you know hippos like the water too.

She also had a little book to read

She has to make sure she's up on all her Elfing ways.

Day 11: Hide and Seek

Ginger left a note for the kids to come and find her.  They are so funny, "mom I looked and looked and I can't find her"  She's still hiding.

Don't tell the kids, but I found her this morning when I went to get a drink.  Wonder how long it will take them?

Day 10: Math

Today Ginger asked the kids to help her with her math problems.

I think she needs some help.  Payton right away could spot the mistakes.

Day 9: Christmas Spirit

Today Ginger wanted us to decorate for Christmas.  She moved the couch and some furniture around so we could put the tree up.

Faith got all the decorations out.  She even carried the tree up.

Our house is now ready for the big guy to come and drop off some Christmas presents!!

Some of these decorations my parents had when we were growing up.

Day 8: Cookies

Ginger decided  that today was a good day to decorate some cookies.  She left out some gingerbread trees, snowman and people.  The kids loved decorating them.  Faith had alittle melt down last night resulting in her having to go to bed early.  Ginger needed to remind her to watch her P's and Q's.

This is all the material set out.

This one is mine, sorry for the turned picture, I didn't straighten it before uploading
 Payton's creations
Faith's she used a caramel for the star then realized after that she doesn't like the taste of this caramel.
And now for the boys, this one is Nathan's.  The bag exploded on him so he used a knife to spread the icing, thus making one solid color.

Clayton was alittle more careful.  Although I do think he went crazy on the sprinkles.

That was our fun for the day.
